What is the role?

What is the role?

Working in the finance team you will be a billing and admin apprentice dealing with the following:

  • To deal with creditor / staff expense queries as they arise
  • To process incoming staff expenses / creditor invoices
  • To take part in the team rota of tasks
  • To cover for finance team members who are on leave
  • To collate payment reports
  • Ensuring purchase invoices are processed in a timely manner and are matched correctly to purchase orders

Engaging with new & existing customers by having open conversations to understand their strategy for improving organisational talent. You will be supporting with an unrivalled portfolio of learning and have the capability to sell across all 4 of QA’s divisions (and be rewarded for it!). You will be developing new business through a mixture of methods (mainly telephone based) and also growing a number of existing customers by aligning products and services that can help them to improve. What is the role?

As an internal auditor is our apprenticeship division you will be doing the following:

  • Responsibility, authority and accountability for all internal audit related activities related to Education & Skills Funding Agency, Skills Development Scotland and European Social Fund provision
  • Conduct regular audits of regional delivery, sales and compliance documentation against the relevant funding rules and using available software and audit tools (includes UK wide travel)
  • Responsibility and accountability for ensuring data errors are maintained at no more than 5% as detailed on the ESFA’s BI reports
  • Provide support, advice and guidance to regions/business unit sales and delivery leaders to minimise errors in documentation and ensure the accuracy of information through a zero tolerance approach to compliance matters
  • Contribute to improving internal processes and protocols through monthly management meetings with peers and managers
  • Assist with preparation for any external inspections including, but not limited to, ESFA, ESF, SDS and Ofsted

The role will cover the whole country so travelling to different offices frequently will be expected.

Your role

Based in Birmingham, you will be required to work closely with the Regional Delivery Manager and Head of Delivery. The position will require travel across multiple sites (depending on where your learners are based) so having your own transport is a must!

What is the role?

To provide high quality, administration and logistical support within the Partner Solutions team. The primary function of the Partner Solutions Coordinator is to be a first point of contact for our customer first stage queries, dealing with those queries and escalating where necessary.

OUR ROLE

As an experienced Payroll Specialist you will have the knowledge and skills to provide full administrative support and assistance to the payroll team to deliver payroll goals and objectives. You will be well versed with handling all types of payroll queries ensuring we respond to our colleagues professionally, knowledgeably and in good time.  It will be a must to have a good working knowledge of excel as manual calculations are an essential part of the job.  

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Excellent attention to detail

Payroll administration experience with proven success in demonstrating written and communication skills.

Ability to prioritise and ensure that tasks are completed accurately.

Ability to multi-task, maintain a level head when under pressure, think ahead and to work to deadlines.

Your role

As a Technical skills coach you will be managing a case load of up to 50 learners on our Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship programme. You will be supporting learners through successful completion of their programme by providing guidance and support to them and their employers.

You will maintain regular contact with your learners and their employers to demonstrate formal progress and planning of progression for the learner.

Having previous experience in a similar role would be a bonus, but if you have not, don’t fret; as part of our commitment to you we will be putting you through your CAVA training and Coaching and Mentoring training – making you a fully qualified Skills Coach!

Your team

Based in London, Tower Hill, you will be required to work closely with the Regional Delivery Manager and Head of Delivery. The position will require travel across multiple sites (depending on where your learners are based) so having your own transport is a must!

What is the role?

Integral to the business you will work closely with our Corporate Clients to ensure we deliver the best service to our customers. It’s not all about the employers, our Learner journey is vital, which requires dedication and good customer service so that they can realise their full potential.

The role is a critical co-ordination, admin, and customer service role within QA’s Apprenticeship Services team. You will support the delivery requirements of QA’s corporate clients, being a key resource for admin support, scheduling, project management and logistics management of QA’s apprenticeship programmes.

Duties include:

  • Providing a responsive contact desk for both internal and external stakeholders as well as apprentices
  • Leading on data collection, reporting, and ensuring service accuracy and progression
  • Taking co-ordination responsibility for delivering outstanding apprenticeship programmes and service to clients and their apprentices
  • Working with the Corporate Account Director, Talent Partner, Sills Coaches, Assessors & Principal Tutors to drive quality and operational excellence for learner engagement, retention, and achievement in line with business strategy and plans.
  • To work with QAA’s delivery and operations teams to co-ordinate and schedule service delivery elements for corporate apprenticeship programmes.
  • Monitor and review regular candidate feedback; and flag any issues internally, and log comments and feedback in a timely way
  • To work in partnership with the entire service delivery team to have sufficient knowledge to act as part of a ‘contact desk’ for all programmes across the Apprenticeship corporate delivery team.
  • To deliver excellent standards of customer service – in both ad-hoc requests from clients and apprentices, and in planned management events for the client
  • To be responsible for the collation and issue of timely and accurate reporting processes for all our accounts – according to agreed SLA’s and service levels.
  • To liaise across different divisions and service lines within QA to make sure corporate programmes run smoothly
  • Attend face to face client meetings where required / as requested

This is predominantly an office based support role, it will be both varied and challenging, and requires a person who can give excellence in remote based customer service for our biggest clients.

The successful applicant will need to plan, commission and co-ordinate these activities to deliver a coherent service to the clients and apprentices.

What is the role?

As part of our Virtual Learning Team, you will be responsible for supporting our wide-ranging client base, managing our ‘Attend from Anywhere’ and Virtual on-line courses.  

Dealing with our delegates/learners via email, telephone and WebEx, you will help support customers who cannot physically attend our courses but can virtually.

In this role, you will not only need good people skills but the ability to help from technical perspective running connectivity tests to ensure our customers have the right setup to attend our live online training (don’t worry we will give you the tools and know-how).  

As part of the job, you will need to be able to work shifts when required to help support clients which can be 7:30 to 4 pm or 10 am to 7 pm. So if finishing early or later to beat the mad commuter rush interests you, then please read on...

How will we support you?

It’s really important to make sure you have the support required to do this role, which is why you will have a dedicated experienced team member train you on a daily basis until you are comfortable as well as your manager – Natalie. Natalie has been with QA for 1.5 years so has a wealth of experience to help guide you.

You will be joining a team of three in an environment that is relaxed, sociable and has a good team mentality where tea is a staple and going out after work is a regular occurrence.
